The pipes must be of unalloyed steel and have the characteristics indicated below.
The steels in this table are suitable for welding with the exception of Fe55 steels. In the analysis of the finished product, the deviations provided for by the standard EN10216-1 (ex UNI 663/68) must be taken into account.

- for crude tubes, not less than 8O% of the unit traction tensile strength.
- for semi finished tubes, not less than 70% of the unit traction tensile strength.

TEST
The test will, as a rule, be carried out only on superior class tubes in accordance with the standards provisions.
